In MONACO!!

We decided to visit Monaco, officially the Principality of Monaco, is a sovereign city-state and microstate on the French Riviera and only about two hours from Ovada, the town where we are staying.

Usually when we think about Monaco and Monte-Carlo (a district of Monaco), we have images of princesses (Grace Kelly), palaces, jet setters, luxury and F1 racing cars.

Yes, this is correct, but Monaco also has interesting tourist sites to visit: The Cathedral of St. Nicolas and the Princes Palace for example. A special atmosphere that it gives the impression of being in a magical and privileged location.

Between the architectural and cultural heritage, the gardens, cathedrals, the casino and the museums, there is enough to occupy tourists for a whole day!!

My husband Chris is a huge Formula One fan so we made sure we took in some sights from the World Famous Monaco Grand Prix circuit.

Basically, for a weekend the entire country and city becomes a F1 racetrack.
