Beyond Italy

It has been a few weeks since I updated my blog. It has been very busy the last two weeks traveling and figuring things out on how to travel, which route to take, and how to get to the places the most secure and fastest way.

Sardinia, Italy

We have been to six different countries in six weeks. Italy, including Sardinia, France, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia and Bosnia. Believe me, the blog has been on my mind, decided today to sit down and write.

Bosnia by Bus

Rode the Flixbus from Ljubljana to Zagreb and then transferred to the Bosnian bus system to Saraveo for more than twelve hours of travel. Bosnia has a very limited transit system and has had NO international rail connectivity since 2016. However, the bus ride was enjoyable, convenient, affordable, and most importantly we traveled with the locals. What a great experience!

Saraveo, Bosnia. The bridge in the background commemorates two of the student nurses who were killed at the start of the war in 1992.
